FAWZ 4 TENNISAbout Coach Fawz Ksikes
PTR-certified tennis professional with more than 30 years of coaching juniors and adults in the United States, Morocco and the United Kingdom.
From Casablanca to San Diego
Fawz started his career in Morocco as an assistant professional at the Moundir Tennis Academy in Casablanca, helping run junior tournaments and hitting with Satellite and Challenger players. He earned his PTR professional certification in February 1996.
He moved to Philadelphia to play for Philadelphia University, where he was team MVP in 1996 and 1997 and won the 1997 conference doubles title, and graduated with a degree in finance. Along the way he taught at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center, coached a boys' varsity high school team, helped the university women's team win the 1999 NYCAC championship, and coached a professional player at the Advanta Women's Championship.
Back in Morocco, Fawz directed junior programs and coached championship-winning junior teams at Casablanca's top clubs, then led tennis at some of the country's best-known resorts: head coach at the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech and coach at Kasbah Tamadot, Sir Richard Branson's retreat in the Atlas Mountains. A Forbes travel writer who took a lesson with him wrote: "I highly recommend him wherever you are staying." (Forbes, 2015)
In 2022 he founded Fawz 4 Tennis in San Diego County. Today he coaches private, semi-private and group lessons for players of every age and level, from a child's first rally to tournament juniors and league adults.
